- Substitute Cafeteria Workers needed for the 2026-2027 School Year
Start/end times vary by building - Typically would sub 3.75 hours unless a 7-hour person is needed
- Assist with lunch meal preparation (including sandwich making & bagging, cupping fruit, salad and veggies)
- Set up and serve lunch meal
- Break down and clean up serving lines and work areas
- Restock serving lines (condiments, milk, fruit, veggies, etc.)
- Wash dishes (trays, pots, pans, etc.)
- Sweep and mop floors
- Put away stock and non-food supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Safe Food handling and kitchen sanitation
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be able to work as a team
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be customer service oriented
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. repetitiously
- Must be able to read and perform mathematical equations
- BCI/FBI Background Clearance
Starting Pay: $13.00/hr.
