Food Service Substitute

Duties shall include, but are not limited to:

• Work independently or with others, using good initiative and judgment
• Prepare and/or assist with cooking entree, vegetable, salad and other food items
• Operate a variety of food service equipment, not limited to oven, range, and dish

machine

• Set up cafeteria and serving lines, serve food, apportioning by menu count/restocks
• Fill out daily paperwork and follow Federal Regulations
• Properly handle and store foods
• Apply proper sanitation principles and procedures
• Perform cleaning duties, dish washing, scrub cafeteria tables, clean serving areas
• Load and unload food service delivery van and operate a vehicle
• Operate Point of Service Computer System
• Collects payments by accepting cash or check from customers; making change for cash

customers

• Any other duties assigned by your Supervisor Ability to use good initiative and judgment
