Food Service - Pool

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, be productive with minimal supervision, and have a good attendance record
• Must wear dark slacks and slip resistant shoes
• Have and maintain driver's license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A high school diploma or equivalency
• Two years food services experience

HOURS OF OPERATION: AM Shift- Monday- Friday (6:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.) *

PM Shift- (Monday- Thursday, 10:30 a.m.- 7:30 p.m, Saturday or Sunday)*

• Hours may vary to meet the needs of the department

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Must be vigilant in cleaning and organizing your assigned area.

• Maintain sanitary conditions in food preparation and food serving areas.

• Empty and clean trash containers, dispose of food and trash in a sanitary manner.

• Sweep and mop kitchen, serving, and dining areas.

• Duties within our department may change based on the need of the department. Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Cashier services

• Food preparation

• Dining area upkeep

• Dishwashing and custodial care

• Assist with catering events as needed at various campus locations district wide.

• Maintain a professional work environment, and abide by NWCC rules and policies.

• Any and all other duties as assigned by the Food Service management staff.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• May travel to various campus locations district wide for catering events
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule due to shift changes if needed that may include weekends or nights
• Must work well in a team environment
• Must be able to perform tasks that may require stretching, reaching above head, and shoulders
• Must be able to properly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to perform tasks related to food preparation and kitchen sanitation
