Description

The Port Byron Central School District has anticipated openings for Food Service Helpers (22.5 - 37.5 hours per week) to assist in the kitchen and help manage a safe, organized cafeteria. This role combines food service with student lunch supervision to ensure a smooth, positive lunch experience for our students. Hours range from 6:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Prep & Service: Prepare simple meal components and serve students on the lunch line.
  • Student Supervision: Monitor the cafeteria during meal times to ensure student safety and assist with needs (e.g., opening milk cartons).
  • Sanitation: Clean and sanitize tables between lunch periods and wash dishes/equipment in the kitchen.
  • Fingerprinting required.

Education:
  • High school or equivalent (Preferred).
