About This Position:

This position is eligible for an annual bonus of up to 15% after one year of employment, provided all applicable criteria are met

 

**You will need to be located in the state of Texas for this position or relocate to the state of Texas for this role.**

 

The General Manager plans, directs and coordinates the activities associated with running multiple facilities (at least 2 or more). This includes ensuring all team members are adequately trained and able to perform job responsibilities. It also involves managing food service operations and ensuring they comply with internal procedures, and required local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Furthermore, it includes ensuring all facilities maintain accurate on-site reports of daily and monthly financial, production, and activity data.

 

You will work onsite. You will report to the Director of Projects.

 

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

  • Manage team members in general food service practices
  • Direct team members to ensure job-related rules, and security guidelines are enforced.
  • Maintain product service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints.
  • Manage food service operations and ensure they comply with internal procedures and required local, state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Ensure all facilities maintain a sanitary food service environment by following food service and Health Department codes and regulations.
  • Ensure all facilities maintain accurate on-site reports of daily and monthly financial, production, and activity.
  • Maintain contract compliance and cost control.
  • Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • High School diploma/GED plus equivalent experience required.
  • SERV Safe Certified.
  • At least five (5) years of food service experience in a correctional setting.
  • We prefer previous multi-unit supervisory experience.
  • Must have experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering, receiving and cost control.
  • We require proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
