The Germantown School District is looking for a Food & Nutrition Delivery Driver to transport food, equipment, materials, and supplies to our 6 schools.
Performance Responsibilities:
Collect, load, and unload food/paper supplies without assistance
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock items in the freezer, cooler, and dry storage
Drives delivery vehicle for the purpose of transporting items to designated sites
Performs routine maintenance on the vehicle (e.g. gas, clean inside/outside, reports any problems, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining the vehicle in safe operating conditions.
Plug in hot holding equipment and understand the basic functionality of food service equipment
Display the highest ethical and professional behavior in working with students, parents, school personnel, and outside agencies associated with the school.
Serve as a role model for students and staff in demonstrating positive attitudes, appropriate attire and grooming, and effective work ethic.
Participate in any required in-services and training
Adhere to federal statutes and regulations, state and local health agency requirements, State Board of Education rules and regulations, Board of Education policies and procedures, and contractual obligations
Perform any duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment, as assigned by the Director of Food & Nutrition or designee, and not otherwise prohibited by law or regulations.
