About the Role

The Food Service Coordinator supports daily food service operations by assisting with food preparation, meal service, kitchen organization, sanitation, inventory rotation, and food safety compliance. Working under the direction of the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef, this role helps ensure the delivery of safe, nutritious, and high-quality meals while creating a positive dining experience for members, employees, and guests.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Preparing salad bar offerings and food items according to approved recipes and menus
• Assisting with meal service, packed lunches, grab-and-go meals, and catered events
• Supporting food presentation and service during designated meal periods
• Organizing food inventory, rotating stock, labeling products, and maintaining product quality
• Setting up and breaking down food service stations and dining areas
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout kitchen, dining, and storage areas
• Following food safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements
• Supporting special events and assisting with overall kitchen operations as needed

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum one year of experience in food service, hospitality, kitchen operations, or a related environment
• Knowledge of basic food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization, multitasking, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, residential treatment, hospitality, catering, or institutional food service environments preferred
• Experience preparing meals for large groups or high-volume service operations preferred
• Additional food safety, culinary, or hospitality-related training preferred
