Food Service Cashiers are pleasant and outgoing individuals that provide our guests with excellent customer service and is responsible for operating Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals and/or cash registers to ensure accurate commerce and a smooth flow of customer traffic. Duties are but not limited to the following: - Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by demonstrating a friendly and courteous attitude.
- Have a solid product knowledge.
- Use the Point-of-Sale computer system to ring in sales for food and merchandise items.
- Accurately accept cash, credit card and vouchers for payment and issue correct change and receipts.
- Follow all cash handling policies to ensure accurate cash balance throughout the duration of the shift.
- Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
- Take an active part in loss prevention by greeting all guests.
- Keep merchandise stocked on the floor and follow back stock procedures.
Qualifications: - Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must have an active State of Hawaii TB Clearance Card
- Adhere to work schedules and maintain regular attendance.
- Purchase uniform and keep a well-groomed appearance.
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Must be able to work in an environment that can be at times high paced and stressful
- Must be able to work in all types of inclement weather conditions.
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds
- Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting, climbing, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs
- Proficiency in the English Language
