Summary

Join the Food & Beverage team as a Server Assistant at Little Daisy, located within Thompson Dallas in downtown Dallas. Thompson Dallas is part of Hyatt Hotels Corporation and offers 219 guestrooms, three dining and beverage destinations, a boutique spa and fitness experience, event spaces, and a two-acre pool deck with skyline views.

Little Daisy offers a lively dining experience rooted in thoughtful service, quality food and beverage, and a strong connection to the Dallas community.

As a Server Assistant, you will support the service team in delivering an organized, efficient, and welcoming experience for every guest. This is a fast-paced PM position with opportunities to interact with guests and work closely with Servers, culinary colleagues, and the broader Food & Beverage team.

The typical schedule is 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Flexibility is required, as schedules may vary based on business needs and may include weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Support Servers with timely and attentive guest service.
• Set, clear, and reset tables according to restaurant standards.
• Deliver water, bread, food, beverages, and other items to guests as directed.
• Assist with table maintenance throughout the meal.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked service stations.
• Assist with side work, opening and closing duties, and restaurant setup.
• Communicate guest needs and requests to Servers and other team members.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, service, and hotel standards.
• Work collaboratively with Servers, culinary colleagues, hosts, and management.
• Perform additional duties as needed based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous upscale restaurant or hotel experience preferred.
• Refined verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Positive, service-focused attitude.
• Professional appearance and reliable attendance.
• Availability to work PM shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, stoop, push, and pull.
• Ability to lift and carry trays, food and beverage items, and service equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
