Hialeah Products Co Inc is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Food Safety and Quality Manager to join our team in Hollywood, FL. This is a key leadership role where you'll champion food safety standards and quality assurance across our operations. Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality management programs including HACCP, GMPs, and SSOPs
• Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations (FDA, USDA)
• Manage and respond to customer complaints, non-conformances, and corrective action processes
• Oversee receiving and inventory control procedures
• Oversee sanitation programs and conduct routine facility inspections to ensure a safe production environment
• Train and mentor staff on food safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and maintain documentation for third party audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in food safety and quality management within a food manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, SQF, BRC, or other GFSI-recognized food safety schemes
• PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) certification strongly preferred
• Familiarity with FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) regulations
• Experience using warehouse management software to control inventory and food safety (we use SAP)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
