    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Job Title: Food Runner

    Department: Food & Beverage

    Supervision Exercised: None

    Supervision Received: Restaurant Supervisor / Food & Beverage Supervisor / F&B Manager

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    Experience

    • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
    • Experience in a fast-paced dining environment a plus.

    Skills and Knowledge

    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work efficiently during high-volume service periods.
    • Ability to carry trays and deliver food safely and professionally.
    • Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
    • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30–40 lbs. for extended periods.
    • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Deliver food orders to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally.
    • Ensure dishes are delivered at the correct temperature and presentation.
    • Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to maintain smooth service flow.
    • Assist servers by clearing plates, refilling beverages, and resetting tables as needed.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line, service stations, and dining areas.
    • Help prepare garnishes, sauces, or condiments for service when needed.
    • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
    • Assist with opening, running, and closing side duties.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
