We are looking for a dependable, energetic Food Runner to join our restaurant team. The Food Runner plays an important role in providing excellent guest service by ensuring food is delivered quickly, accurately, and attractively from the kitchen to the dining room.
Job Description
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately.
- Ensure dishes are presented according to restaurant standards.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management.
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service areas.
- Verify orders for accuracy before delivering them to guests.
- Assist the restaurant team with additional tasks during busy periods.
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests.
Basic Skills & Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry food trays and other items safely.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
