Job Overview 
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.


Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. 
• Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete and presented beautifully. 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. 
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. 
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. 
• Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times. 
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any needs or concerns promptly. 
• Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring quality standards are met. 

Skills

• Experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. 
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. 
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. 
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. 
• Previous banquet or hotel experience is advantageous but not required. 
• Culinary experience or knowledge of cooking techniques is beneficial.
