    Who WE are looking for:

    A Food Runner supports the waitstaff by delivering food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to the correct tables quickly and accurately. They help ensure orders are complete, assist with clearing and resetting tables, and communicate guest needs to the team, all while maintaining efficient and friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

    What is expected of YOU:

    • Assist customers with their orders by explaining specials, meals, and drinks, and make recommendations.
    • Deliver food orders to a variety of customers in a timely manner.
    • Accurately explain food orders to chefs, with specific attention to allergies and special requests.
    • Help the wait staff set up tables by placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, decorations, and napkins.
    • Uphold our food health safety and sanitation principles.
    • Occasionally check on customers to handle any impromptu requests or issues.
    • Remove dirty dishes from the table.
    • Inform management of customer feedback
    • Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately
    • Uphold sanitation and food safety principles
    • Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash
    • Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory
    • Relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties
    • Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food
    • Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins and decorations
    • Handle various impromptu requests from customers

    Experience YOU will need:

    • Excellent ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure accurate and timely food delivery.
    • Demonstrated experience in providing good customer service, with a focus on delivering a positive dining experience.
    • Proven capability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
    • Experience in handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and maintain smooth operations.
    • Experience adapting to changing conditions and demands, including managing unexpected issues or high volumes of orders

    Physical Requirements:

    • Regularly lift and carry trays or plates of food.
    • Navigate through crowded or tight spaces.
    • Stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Bend, stoop, and reach to deliver orders to tables promptly.
    • Maintain agility and balance while moving between the kitchen and dining areas.
    • Ensure the safe and accurate delivery of meals to support the smooth functioning of restaurant service.

     

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
    • Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations.

    Salary Range:
