Food Production Workers - 2nd Shift
Weslaco, TX
Hiring Food Production Workers for our 2nd Shift operation. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in food manufacturing, food processing, packaging, production, warehouse operations, and general labor. Job Duties
- Perform food processing, packaging, labeling, sorting, and production line duties.
- Assemble, package, and inspect food products while maintaining quality control standards.
- Operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to meet daily production goals.
- Follow all food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), sanitation, HACCP, and workplace safety procedures.
- Load, unload, move, and organize raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
- Assist with production line operations, food packaging, and product preparation.
- Support warehouse and manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are met.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Identify and report quality or safety concerns to management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, food production, packaging, warehouse, assembly line, or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working in hot or warm production environments.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Commitment to following food safety and quality standards.
