We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Manufacturing Quality Manager to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in food manufacturing and quality management to make a significant impact on our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing supplier testing, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and driving continuous improvement in our quality systems. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of food safety and quality management systems across all manufacturing operations.
  • Manage supplier testing procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes and supplier operations to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality and safety.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the understanding of quality management principles across the organization.
  • Lead investigations into quality issues, develop corrective action plans, and oversee their implementation.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics, providing regular updates to senior management on performance against targets.
  • Stay abreast of changes in food safety regulations and industry best practices, ensuring that our operations remain compliant and competitive.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with supplier testing and quality audit procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems, such as HACCP and ISO 22000.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive change and promote a culture of quality across the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex quality concepts to a wide range of audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Certifications in quality management or food safety, such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified HACCP Auditor, would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in the use of quality management software and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed to conduct supplier audits and attend industry events.
