About the Job

Ruan is hiring full-time drivers to shuttle liquid eggs in tank trailers for our dedicated customer based in Clear Lake, IA. For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at (800) 879-7826.

Pay

Get paid weekly while earning an average of $88,000 per year! Drivers are paid at $0.67 per mile and $10 per drop and hook. Drivers on the Friday - Tuesday schedule earn an extra $0.03 per mile.

Schedule

Be home daily with start times between 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Drivers are usually home every night, but if a layover occurs, you will be paid for your 10-hour break! Tuesday - Saturday, Sunday - Thursday, Thursday - Monday, and Friday - Tuesday schedules available.

Equipment

Tractors are late-model Freightliners. This account is no-touch freight, all drop and hook. If a truck needs repairs, its not going out until it is 100% ready. Tank endorsement is required.

What does a typical day look like for a Ruan Driver in Clear Lake, Iowa?

Drivers on this account will start their day in Clear Lake with an empty trailer, drop the empty in Corwith, IA, or Malcom, IA, hook a preloaded trailer and take it to processing plants in either Lenox, IA Britt, IA, or Gaylord, MN.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 22 years or older
• No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
• No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
• With the Department of Transportations Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
• Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
• Additional qualifications will apply
