Crooked Pint Ale House in Waite Park, MN is hiring an organized, communicative Food Expiditor (Expo) to help keep our kitchen and dining room running smoothly during busy shifts.
The Expo plays an important role in making sure every order leaving the kitchen is accurate, complete, and ready to go. This is a great position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well with both the front and back of house, and takes pride in keeping things organized.
What You’ll Do:
- Review completed orders for accuracy, presentation, and completeness
- Organize food and coordinate orders so they leave the kitchen efficiently
- Communicate clearly with cooks, servers, food runners, and managers
- Monitor ticket times and help keep orders moving
- Identify missing or incorrect items and communicate with the BOH to get them corrected
- Ensure food is properly garnished, plated, and ready for the dining room
- Coordinate with food runners and servers to get orders to guests quickly
- Help maintain a clean and organized expo area
- Stay aware of the overall flow of service and jump in where needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to stay calm and focused during busy shifts
- Comfortable communicating with both FOH and BOH team members
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Previous restaurant experience, especially expo or kitchen experience, is a plus
