    Description

    The Golden CorralĀ® Food & Beverage Support Specialist is responsible for the management, accuracy, and maintenance of recipe, nutritional, allergen, and operational documentation for all Culinary and Beverage initiatives. Coordinates recipe development support, training materials, product photography, and test kitchen operations to ensure successful implementation of menu initiatives, product launches, and restaurant execution. Serves as a key partner to Culinary Development, Marketing, Training, Operations, Supply Chain, and external vendors throughout the product development process.

    Food & Beverage Support Specialist Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Coordinates activities with cross-functional teams including Culinary Development, Marketing, Training, Operations, Supply Chain, distributors, vendors, consultants, and external partners.
    • Provides project leadership and coordination for recipe documentation, training materials, and test kitchen activities.

    Food & Beverage Support Specialist Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Maintains and manages all recipes, nutritional, allergen, yield, and preparation documentation within approved recipe management systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
    • Coordinates recipe development documentation, project tracking, product photography, and video production to support menu launches, restaurant implementation, and training initiatives.
    • Manages daily test kitchen operations, including equipment maintenance, scheduling, product sourcing, deliveries, vendor coordination, inventory support, and facility resources.
    • Partners with Marketing, Training, Operations, and Culinary teams to develop restaurant training materials and ensure accuracy of guest-facing and operational materials.
    • Supports product development projects by coordinating timelines, documentation, presentations, restaurant testing, food shows, training events, pre-openings, and field implementation activities.
    • Collaborates with Supply Chain, distributors, manufacturers, and vendors to ensure approved products are available and aligned with development specifications.
    • Continuously evaluates processes and recommends improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and execution.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Ā Food & Beverage Support Specialist Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Strong knowledge of culinary operations, recipe development, food preparation techniques, and menu execution

    • Understanding of nutrition, allergen management, food labeling, and related regulatory requirements

    • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy

    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

    • Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and with external partners

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, recipe management systems, and presentation software

    • Ability to work independently while effectively contributing within a team environment

    • Ability to analyze processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

    Food & Beverage Support Specialist Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Nutrition, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred

    • Advanced culinary studies or formal apprenticeship strongly preferred

    • Minimum of two years of progressive professional experience in culinary development, product development, foodservice operations, nutrition, or related fields

    • Chain restaurant, food manufacturing, supplier, or restaurant research and development experience preferred

    • Experience supporting menu development, recipe documentation, and restaurant implementation initiatives preferred

    Food & Beverage Support Specialist Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand for extended periods while supporting test kitchen activities.

    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.

    • Ability to travel periodically for restaurant openings, field testing, training events, supplier visits, and related business needs.
