Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the Role:

The F&B Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, bar, and Starbucks, with a focus on opening and start-of-day operations. This position is responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house activities, managing staff performance, and delivering exceptional customer service to create a welcoming experience. The supervisor will coordinate with kitchen and management teams to maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety compliance. Additionally, the role involves training and mentoring team members to uphold the restaurant, bar, and Starbucks values and operational procedures. Ultimately, the F&B Supervisor contributes to the overall success and reputation by fostering a positive work environment and ensuring guest satisfaction.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Previous hotel, fine dining, upscale restaurant, or related experience preferred
• Proficiency with restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
• Certification in food safety (e.g., ServSafe).
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development and customer service excellence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to remain professional and composed while resolving guest concerns.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff during evening shifts to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Monitor customer interactions and promptly address any issues or concerns to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Assist in training, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and skilled team.
• Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless communication and timely service.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant.
• Manage inventory and supplies to support daily operations and minimize waste.
• Prepare reports on shift performance, customer feedback, and operational challenges for management review

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods and move throughout the front office area.
• Sit, bend, reach, and lift as needed to complete job duties.
• Occasionally lift and carry supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
• Use computers, phones, tablets, and standard office equipment for extended periods.
