Summary

The Role

Supervisors possess strong leadership, communication and relationship skills. They are expected to support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities. This role leads other associates by coaching, giving direction and may include training, scheduling, payroll and interviewing. Restaurant Supervisors must demonstrate fundamental food and beverage knowledge and serve as the liaison between culinary and restaurant operations. This position plays a significant role in the overall outlet performance, which includes product quality and service standards.

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Lead and support the Food & Beverage team during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest service.
• Delegate tasks effectively and provide hands-on assistance as needed.
• Oversee the restaurant and bar, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
• Assist in training and developing team members.
• Ensure adherence to hotel security, fire regulations, and health & safety laws.
• Maintain compliance with state food handling and liquor laws.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of outlets.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, specials, and offerings.
• Assist in planning and executing special events and private functions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Where art and atmosphere seep in from the surrounding neighborhood, and collaborations seep back out. tommie will feature a bespoke coffee and wine shop and allow guests to be the master of their own stay while still offering warm and authentic service.

Both hotels are anchored on the ground floor by our re-imagined cantina-themed restaurant, Arriba Abajo, a 13,000 sq ft. indoor and outdoor oasis as well as the 5th Street Diner + Royale Room, a street-side concept serving daily fare for locals, residents, and guests alike. This mixed-use project will also feature a residential tower - Sienna - and 10,000 square feet of retail space and a 7,000 sq. ft. state of the art fitness center and simulator room, appropriately named the "T" Box.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to meet and exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal communication abilities to effectively interact with guests and team members.
• Must have the stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight as needed.
• Serve alcohol responsibly and promptly report any concerns to management.
• Strong understanding of food, wine, spirits, and beer.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Must have a flexible schedule - willing an able to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
• High energy, an entrepreneurial mindset, motivational leadership skills, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
