This position is responsible for picking up food from the donating agencies and
delivering to the distribution points in a timely manner.
Essential Duties

Responsibilities:

Pick up food from the donating agencies.
• Deliver food to the distribution points (Food Pantries/Soup Kitchens).
• Record the proper mileage of the truck
• Ensure the proper maintenance of the truck in a timely manner.
• Clean and wash the truck as needed.
• Collect the necessary statistics and signatures from each delivery site.
• Promptly report any damage to product.
• Secure necessary truck volunteers for loading/unloading.
• All three PA Clearances required upon employment and thereafter upon renewal
date: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, Request for Criminal Record, and
Fingerprint based federal criminal history.
• PA Mandated and Permissive Reporting and The Salvation Army's KeepSAfe
training required.
• Must have valid PA Drivers License

Qualifications:

High School graduate or must have G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must be able to work unsupervised as minimal as possible
