    Position OverviewThe Food & Beverage Supervisor supports the daily operations of the Ranch’s food and beverage program while ensuring the highest level of service and guest satisfaction. This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with both Front of House and Back of House teams to maintain quality, support the team, and ensure the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Coordinate Front of House and Back of House operations.
    • Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction through attentive and professional service.
    • Support and supervise daily restaurant operations and staff.
    • Organize and supervise shifts while maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
    • Train, coach, and support new and existing team members.
    • Respond to guest concerns and complaints quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
    • Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and presentation.
    • Assist with hiring and developing qualified culinary and service team members.
    • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering food, beverages, kitchen supplies, and cleaning products.
    • Work with vendors and regularly review product quality and pricing.
    • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
    • Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
    • Assist with revenue reporting, budgeting, and financial controls.
    • Help develop and implement policies and procedures that support consistent restaurant operations.
    • Lead by example and support the team during busy service periods.
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless Sorrel River Ranch guest experience.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Proven experience in a similar role.
    • Experience working in both Front of House and Back of House operations preferred.
    • Strong food and beverage knowledge, including the ability to understand and communicate menu ingredients and dishes.
    • Previous experience leading, training, and motivating a hospitality team.
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Must be computer and industry software savvy. Toast Tables and POS is preferred.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
    • Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • High ethical standards and professional appearance.
