The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and banquet functions to ensure exceptional guest service, efficient operations, and compliance with company standards. This role supports the Food & Beverage leadership team by supervising staff, maintaining service quality, and ensuring a positive dining experience for every guest.
Supervise the daily operation of the restaurant, bar, and banquet events as assigned.
Lead pre-shift meetings, communicate daily priorities, and assign staff responsibilities.
Ensure all guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
Monitor service standards and address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Coach, mentor, and motivate team members while fostering a positive work environment.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of Food & Beverage staff.
Ensure compliance with health department regulations, food safety standards, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all front-of-house areas.
Assist with scheduling based on business levels and labor targets.
Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and oversee opening and closing duties.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
Support banquet and special event execution as needed.
Promote teamwork and effective communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and operating procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 2 years of restaurant or hotel Food & Beverage experience, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
Food Handler Certification and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification required or obtainable upon hire.
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the restaurant and event spaces.
