Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club, located in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Food and Beverage Manager! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Key Responsibilities:
Manages the daily operations of the Front of House F&B Department.
Assists the General Manager with banquet and event sales.
Inspects and assists with banquet setup and breakdown of tables, decorations, equipment, serving areas, and related activities in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensures satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions, or special requests; assisting banquet staff throughout the event as needed (refilling drinks, delivering food, and bussing tables); and following up with the host at the conclusion of the event.
Hires, supervises, and develops bartenders, beverage cart drivers, hosts and hostesses, snack bar attendants, and other employees in the Front of House F&B department.
Conducts training and refresher classes for all Front of House F&B personnel in the correct procedures.
Provides daily oversight of Front of House F&B accounting procedures.
Manages forecasting and budgets pertaining to F&B operations.
Maintains cost controls and conducts a monthly inventory.
Implements and maintains F&B sales and marketing programs.
Develops and implements a marketing program to increase banquet business.
Orders alcohol and beverages following the PO buying process.
Oversees quality assurance, guest service, and training of all employees.
Upholds Troon Food and Beverage policies.
Institutes and implements all Troon Human Resources guidelines.
Coordinates with all departments.
Develops and implements creative strategies to increase revenues.
Plans and coordinates special events and functions.
Ensures overall guest satisfaction.
Ensures all employees conduct themselves in a professional manner.
Performs a daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations.
Complies with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and other local and state laws.
Follows closing procedures and appropriate cash handling practices.
