Food & Beverage Manager at the
Courtyard by Marriott in Orem. This is a full-time, manager position that requires a minimum of at least 2 years of hotel and restaurant management experience combined along with banquet experience. Willing to work weekends and/or holidays and be able to cover shifts as needed.

Essential Functions- Train and manage back-of-the-house (kitchen) food and beverage preparation staff as well as front-of-the-house food and beverage presentation staff
- Estimate food and beverage consumption and purchases supplies as needed; may have responsibility for property liquor license and licensure requirements
- Select and develop recipes; standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
- Establish presentation techniques and quality standards
- Plan and price menus
- Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance, safety and sanitation
- Prepare meals as needed; may oversee special catering events
- As a supervisor responsible for hiring, discipline, and performance management of subordinate staff
- Maximize sales and revenue for food and beverage operations; perform other related duties as assigned.
- Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding promptly to guests’ needs with an interest and concern in satisfying every guest.
Minimum Qualifications- Completion of a culinary degree, program or certificate with at least 3 years of experience directly related to the above food and beverage responsibilities.
