We're looking for an experienced Folder Gluer Operator to join our team. Summary

The Folder Gluer Operator is responsible for setting up and operating folder gluing equipment to produce high-quality packaging products that meet customer specifications and production goals. This role requires strong technical expertise, troubleshooting capabilities, and a commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has experience operating Bobst folder gluing equipment and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate Bobst Folder Gluer equipment.
• Review job tickets and production specifications before each production run.
• Produce straight-line cartons, auto-bottom cartons, four-corner displays, sleeves, and other specialty products.
• Monitor quality throughout production to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Inspect products and maintain production samples.
• Troubleshoot equipment and make operational adjustments as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain equipment performance.
• Maintain production documentation and records.
• Coordinate workflow with production team members and temporary operators.
• Communicate machine status and production updates during shift handoffs.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate material needs.
• Follow all company safety, quality, security, and operating procedures.

What You'll Bring

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years of Folder Gluer operating experience.
• Experience operating Bobst equipment preferred.
• Packaging, converting, folding carton, or print manufacturing experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of folder gluing processes and carton construction.
• Experience with glue systems including hot melt, cold glue, and fugitive glue.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with production systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining production standards.
