BWC's core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, however, daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across BWC departments. Most positions perform work on-site at one of BWC's seven offices across the state. BWC offers flex-time work schedules that allow an employee to start the day as early as 7:00am or as late as 8:30am. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

3 years experience in human resources.

Major Worker Characteristics:
Knowledge of federal FMLA regulations, state leave policies, and related HR procedures; labor relations; public relations; employee benefits (e.g., workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, disability insurance, social security, public employees' retirement); federal & state laws & rules governing fair employment practices (e.g., ADA, EEO); interviewing; technical writing.
Skill in use of operation of personal computer; Microsoft Office 365 applications; Kronos timekeeping; Kronos leave case generation/maintenance; SharePoint*.
Ability to analyze medical documentation for compliance with FMLA criteria; complete basic statistical analysis; define problems, use proper research methods to collect data; handle sensitive inquiries from & contacts with officials & general public; interact professionally with employees, supervisors, HR staff, and leadership; prepare meaningful, concise & accurate reports; manage confidential information with discretion.
