Your responsibilities will also include:Programing flying probe machines to perform in-circuit and functional testing of PCBAs.Developing, loading, and optimizing programs for new builds, supporting root-cause investigations for failures, and keeping accurate documentation of procedures, results, and corrective actions to meet IPC, ISO, and customer requirementsAnalyzing test outcomes to pinpoint defects, and sharing clear feedback with production and engineeringInterpreting test results, identifying defects, and providing feedback to production and engineering teams.Performing routine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.Collaborating with design and process engineers to improve test coverage and efficiency.Documenting test procedures, results, and corrective actions in compliance with quality standards.Training junior technicians and operators on flying probe machine usage and safety protocols.What we're looking for in a Flying Probe ProgrammerTo thrive as a Flying Probe Programmer at Krypton Solutions, attention to detail is critical, as you will be creating programs designed to meticulously inspect products to identify defects. Ideally, candidates will have:Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Hands-on experience with Flying Probe Machines (e.g., SPEA, Takaya, Keysight).Strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes and test methodologies.Familiarity with CAD data, schematics, and test program generation.Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic circuits and components.Understanding of ESD precautions and electronics manufacturing standards.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience with ICT (In-Circuit Testing) and functional test systems.Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and Lean manufacturing principles.Ability to work in fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume production environments.Familiarity with MES/ERP systems for test data logging.Your next stepIf this sounds like the right job for you, don't wait - apply today to join our team.
