Fluid Power Diagnostics Technician

What You’ll Work On

• Diagnosis and repair of hydraulic components and systems
• Hands-on work with pumps, motors, valves, and high-pressure tools
• Troubleshooting hydraulic issues on boom trucks, dump trucks, and other equipment
• Running a computer-based test stand and additional diagnostic equipment
• Disassembling and reassembling components for inspection and rebuild

Skills That Set You Up for Success

• Proficiency with hand tools, measuring tools, machinery, and power tools
• Ability to diagnose hydraulic problems on trucks and heavy equipment—including work on and under equipment
• Willingness to study and grow your hydraulic knowledge

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs; bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb, and lie down while working. Comfortable working in heat and cold.

• Position Type: Full Time Evaluation Hire Position
• Schedule: M–F, 8:00 am–5:00 pm
• Pay: $20–$25 per hour DOE
