    Job Overview:

    As a Floor Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the appearance of flooring surfaces within our facilities. Your expertise will ensure a pristine environment, contributing to a positive experience for everyone in the space.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine and specialized cleaning of flooring surfaces, including carpet, vinyl, tile, and hardwood.
    • Operate, maintain, and store floor cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors.
    • Apply appropriate cleaning, waxing, and polishing chemicals according to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
    • Conduct floor inspections to identify damage or areas needing repair and report to the maintenance supervisor.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations while handling cleaning agents and equipment.
    • Work collaboratively with custodial staff to provide comprehensive cleaning services.
    • Assist in setting up and tearing down event spaces as needed.
    • Maintain supply inventory by tracking usage and communicating needs to management.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in floor maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
    • Knowledge of cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals.
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
