b. Analyzes each sales consultant's monthly production, identifies training and coaching needs, and effectively coaches to maximize performance.
c. Makes new car inventory recommendations for the dealership.
d. Reviews, addresses, and monitors CSI scores to determine areas of concern and training and development needs to ensure consistent delivery of a luxury-customer experience.
e. Reviews, addresses, and monitors ESI scores and works with the management team to meet employee satisfaction targets.
Implementation & Control (Production Management)a. Monitors sales team's unit count, sales revenue, gross margin, contributions, and expenses to ensure that they are in line with planned objectives.
b. Prepares commission sheets, costing sheets, control logs and other reports as needed.
c. Used Cars: Responsible for accurate assessments of vehicle trade-ins - appraises and determines actual cash value, determines retail pricing, determines reconditioning needs and coordinates with vendors, controls reconditioning expenses and maintains records, inventory management.
Major Job Functions and TasksSales Management/Lead ManagementSales Management
Ensures that sales consultants consistently and properly execute all aspects of sales process including: meet and greet, demonstration, negotiation, documentation, recording of all information into DealerTrack correctly, and follow-up with customers to ensure high CSI. Meet with sales consultants on a daily basis to review past, current, and future sales activities. Accountable to identify, call attention to, initiate change in, and monitor performance of all team members who directly serve customers. Ensures that each customer is addressed at a luxury-experience standard. Coaches and trains sales consultants, spot-checks performance, trouble-shoots issues, counsels sales consultants as needed, and takes progressive disciplinary action as needed if standards are not met. For Internet Sales only - Ensures that all internet and e-mail protocols are followed.
Lead Management
Ensures that 100% of prospects entering dealership are tracked and recorded. Ensures that accurate information is collected on all customers, and that information is inputted in DealerTrack system correctly. Ensures that sales team achieves 100% follow up on all prospects in their sales experience. Ensures that a customer-focused approach is utilized to maximize be-back ratios. Ensure that 100% of be-backs are recorded in appointment calendars. Ensure that updating of all customer information is done on a consistent and timely basis.
Customer ServiceIdentifies, calls attention to, and resolves customer issues complaints in a timely and professional manner. Ensures that individuals, sales teams, and dealership meet or exceed customer service targets.

- Technological advancements and resources needed to effectively perform job duties and responsibilities.
- Current trends, best practices, forecast, and factory directives.
