Floor Leader(Retail) - San Jose

THE ROLE: Reporting to the Store Manager, your main focus as a keyholder is contributing to your store. Success by promoting a positive shopping experience for each customer which will build and maintain meaningful and long-term relationship with each customer. In order to do so, you play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the store. You contribute to optimizing inventory management into increasing sales and customer satisfaction or maintaining the brand and visual/merchandising, presentation standards, and directives in the store. You also contribute to the management of the inventory through shipment processing sales floor replenishment and Econ order fulfillment. You're an integral part of the success in your store.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Store Manager in leading the team and achieving store sales goals: identifying opportunities, maximizing potential, upholding key targets, and monitoring progress and results.
• Exemplify an optimistic and energetic presence while building a strong relationship with customers and employees to maximize loyalty and build brand recognition. Model and foster a consumer-centric mindset, demonstrating genuine interactions in selling behaviors and customer care.
• Ensure product is always available to the customer and presented in a compelling way that is showcasing latest trends. Ensure the customer ensure the store is consistently customer-ready: recovered throughout the day and at closing. Uphold company standards of a neat, clean and organized store, including sales floor, cash wrap, fitting room, and stockroom.
• Support the Store Manager in supervising daily operations of the store and associates to maintain brand integrity and achieve goals. Follow scheduling as set out by Store Manager and effectively utilize team on sales floor. Maintain a positive attitude - staying flexible to changing needs of the customer and the business.
• Ensure sales floor is properly stocked with inventory: new product worked to floor in a timely manner. Execute efficient and effective handling of all merchandise from shipment processing, product moves and floorsets, to markdowns.
• Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately in accordance with established procedures and customer service guidelines. Uphold policies and procedures, standards and practices, and company directives. Protect compan assets, uphold company safety, security, and shrink avoidance policies and programs. Report any and all concerns to the Store Manager.
• Upkeep an inclusive store culture that is reflective of our values and brands, resulting in a team of engaged store associates and outstanding customer experiences.
• Fulfill MOD responsibilities, including opening and closing procedures, driving productivity during downtime, upholding cleanliness standards, and ensuring a welcoming, service-focused sales floor at all times.
• Actively engage our customers in new and meaningful ways by providing knowledge on the fabrics, features, fit, and functions of our product.
• Strive for excellence meeting and exceeding store objectives as a replay relates to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Maintain all safety and security standards, as well as identify and communicate potential issues.
• Support inventory control by accurately receiving/transferring product, joining inventory counts and maintaining an organized back of house.
• Assist with visual merchandising standards by partnering with the Store Manager.
• Additional duties may be assigned in accordance with business or operational needs.
