Floor Care Technician

Position details:

Facility: Morton Plant North Bay Hospital

Location: New Port Richey, FL

Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Schedule: PRN, Hourly (non-benefit eligible)

Weekend Work: Yes, every other

On Call: No

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing detailed floor care
• Specialized cleaning and departmental functions in patient and non-patient areas and assigned floor care functions based on hospital standards in accordance with safety and infection control requirements;
• Moves and sets up furniture
• Cleans up spills
• Maintains equipment, furniture, and supplies to aid in cost control
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required specific skills include:

Ability to operate and maintain floor, carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment.

Six Months of Floor Care Experience required
