Crescent Cleaning is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Floor Care & Specialty Cleaning Technician to join our growing team!

This is not your typical janitorial position. We're looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and has hands-on experience with commercial floor care and specialty cleaning projects.

Our project technicians work at various commercial locations throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs, performing specialized cleaning services that require technical knowledge, efficiency, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform commercial floor care services, including stripping, waxing, scrubbing, and other specialized floor cleaning.

• Flexible schedule, MUST be willing to work different shifts, last minute shifts, and schedule changes frequently. 

• Complete carpet cleaning, deep cleaning, post-construction cleanup, and other specialty cleaning projects.

• Operate and maintain commercial cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, carpet cleaning machines, and other specialized equipment.

• Complete assigned projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

• Document completed work through before-and-after photos and communicate project updates to management.

• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, tools, and supplies in clean, safe, and working condition.

• Assist with equipment maintenance, inventory management, and supply ordering.

• Identify and communicate any project concerns, equipment issues, or additional service needs.

• Follow all company safety procedures, including proper chemical handling and equipment operation.

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous commercial floor care and specialty cleaning experience is REQUIRED.

Qualified candidates must:

• Have hands-on experience with commercial floor care, including stripping and waxing floors.

• Have experience operating commercial floor cleaning equipment.

• Possess a valid driver's license.

• Be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

• Be dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.

• Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

• Have strong communication skills and a professional attitude.

• Be willing and available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as project needs require.

• Be comfortable traveling between job sites throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.

• Follow all company safety standards and customer site requirements.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Pay: $23.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience.

• Full-Time Employment

• Insurance Benefits: Available after one year of employment.

• 401(k): Company contribution available after one year of employment.
