Monday through Friday
11:00am - 2:00pm

Job Summary
At Jumper Bean Daycare & Preschool, we are expanding within our preschool building and opening new Infant and Toddler classrooms for the upcoming school year. We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and nurturing Floating Teacher to support both our Infant and Toddler programs.
This role includes consistent midday hours, along with additional on-call coverage for Lead and Assistant Teachers as needed. The ideal candidate is flexible, confident working with multiple age groups, and able to step into classrooms while maintaining a calm, structured, and engaging environment.
Responsibilities- Provide coverage for Infant and Toddler Lead and Assistant Teachers during scheduled breaks
- Step into classrooms as needed to maintain proper ratios and continuity of care
- Provide on-call coverage for staff absences when needed
- Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and play
- Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment at all times
- Maintain consistency in care and classroom expectations across age groups
- Follow all OCFS regulations and center policies
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families
- Assist with classroom transitions, organization, and daily needs
Qualifications- Previous experience working in both infant and toddler child care settings (required)
- Comfortable working across multiple classrooms and age groups
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong understanding of both infant and toddler development
- Patient, nurturing, and adaptable
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to step into different roles with confidence
- Passion for working with young children
