The Learning Experience - Billerica is hiring a Floater Teacher to support our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms!
Were looking for a dependable, caring educator who enjoys working with different age groups, supporting fellow teachers, and helping create a positive learning environment wherever theyre needed.
As a Floater Teacher, youll play an important role in keeping our classrooms running smoothly while helping children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
What Youll Do
Provide classroom coverage and teaching support across infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms
Assist Lead Teachers with daily learning activities and routines
Support The Learning Experiences L.E.A.P. Curriculum through age-appropriate activities
Engage children through stories, music, art, movement, sensory play, and hands-on learning
Help with feeding, diapering, toilet training, meals, rest time, and classroom transitions as appropriate
Maintain consistent routines and use positive behavior guidance
Supervise children and maintain safe, nurturing classroom environments
Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers
Help maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and supplies
Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing, health, and safety requirements
Qualifications
Must meet applicable Massachusetts EEC qualifications for assigned classroom duties
Previous professional childcare, daycare, or early childhood education experience preferred
EEC Teacher or Lead Teacher certification preferred
Comfortable working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
Flexible, dependable, patient, and comfortable working as part of a team
Strong communication and classroom support skills
Must meet applicable background screening and regulatory requirements
