Requirements
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment (CCTV) and security protocols (essential)
- Strong observation skills and the ability to spot potential risks quickly
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and working with team members and emergency responders
- Able to stay calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks in high-stress situations
- Physically fit to do patrols, stand for long periods and respond quickly
- Experience in security, law enforcement, military service or a related field is highly desirable
- First aid, CPR and conflict management certifications preferred; ongoing training is encouraged
What you'll do
- Do regular vehicle or foot patrols to deter unauthorized access and make sure safety protocols are followed
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras at sites that require it
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents and emergencies, including contacting emergency services when needed
- Control access by verifying ID and authorization for employees, visitors, contractors and vendors
- Support loss prevention by watching for suspicious behavior and stepping in when appropriate
- Provide first aid or CPR in an emergency until professional medical help arrives
- Document every incident accurately in detailed reports and logs
