FLEX Nurse Practitioner, EAT Center (20 hours)

The Esophageal and Airway Treatment Center (EAT) center meets the needs of infants, children, and young adults with complex esophageal and airway issues. Key Responsibilities: Providing patient triage/chart review to facilitate needed procedures and clinical supports for patients and families with medical needs ranging from acute to chronic.

The Esophageal and Airway Treatment Center (EAT) center meets the needs of infants, children, and young adults with complex esophageal and airway issues. *This position is a flex position which will also cover ambulatory EAT and then flex to other surgical and procedural areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing patient triage/chart review to facilitate needed procedures and clinical supports for patients and families with medical needs ranging from acute to chronic.
• Conducting patient/family in person and virtual visits inclusive of patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems. 
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Working 20 hours per week including 8,10- and 12-hour day/evening shifts M-F

Minimum Qualifications
Education:

• A Master of Science in Nursing 

Experience:

• 1-3 years of RN/NP acute (hospital) experience required.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills.

Licensure/ Certifications:

• MA licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse 
• Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner
