    Description

    Coke Florida is looking for a Fleet Technician based out of our Palm Beach location. Working 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

    What You Will Do:As a Coke Florida Fleet Technician, you will be responsible for independently performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to main fleet reliability, safety and operational uptime. This role will own the repair execution while learning advanced diagnostics and repair skills

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Perform preventative maintenance on fleet assets to including but not limited to ; Heavy, Medium, and Light Duty on road vehicles, Trailers and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical failuresComplete DOT inspections and documentationTroubleshoot and Repair:

    Brake systemsSuspensionsElectrical SystemsFuel SystemsHydraulic Systems

    Respond to breakdowns and emergency repairsMaintain accurate repair records in Fleet Management Tool

    For this role, you will need:

    2+ years of fleet maintenance experienceExperience servicing at least two of the following:

    Diesel vehiclesLight and medium duty trucksTrailersPIT Equipment

    Ability to:

    Work independently with minimal supervisor and directionDiagnose root cause vs symptoms

    Experience with preventative maintenance programs and DOT complianceBasic proficiency with fleet management or work order systemsBasic Computer skills to include knowledge of web-based fleet tools and MS Office 365Valid liability insurance and driving record within Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) policy guidelines*

    • Major moving violations include, but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and reckless driving. Minor moving violations include, but are not limited to, speeding, driving too close, failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Coke Florida guidelines to determine eligibility for the position.

    Additional qualifications that will make you successful in this role:

    Experience with weldingGasoline, diesel, propane and/or electric vehicle experience preferredASE certification and CDL license or certification strongly preferred
