    Description

    Coke Florida is looking for a Fleet Technician based out of our Cocoa location. Working 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Tuesday - Friday and 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM Saturday.

    What You Will Do:As a Coke Florida Fleet Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet assets to maximize uptime and performance. This role requires independent troubleshooting, repair ownership and rapid issue resolution skills and experience

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across fleet, to include diesel vehicles, Power Industrial Truck (PIT) Equipment, Vans and other vehicles associated with our FleetTrouble shoot:

    Electrical SystemsEngine performance issuesHydraulic and fuel systems

    Execute preventative maintenance in alignment with DOT and company standardsRespond to roadside breakdowns (when applicable) and urgent service callsAccurately document diagnostics, repairs and parts usageMaintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standardsSupport continuous improvement by identifying:

    Repeated failuresMaintenance inefficiencies

    For this role, you will need:

    2-4 years of fleet maintenance experience across light/medium/heavy-duty vehiclesStrong working knowledge of:

    Diesel, gasoline, propane and/or electric systems

    Ability to:

    Work independently with minimal supervisor and directionDiagnose root cause vs symptoms

    Experience with preventative maintenance programs and DOT complianceBasic proficiency with fleet management or work order systemsBasic Computer skills to include knowledge of web-based fleet tools and MS Office 365Valid liability insurance and driving record within Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) policy guidelines*

    • Major moving violations include, but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and reckless driving. Minor moving violations include, but are not limited to, speeding, driving too close, failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Coke Florida guidelines to determine eligibility for the position.

    Journeyman electricianExperience with weldingGasoline, diesel, propane and/or electric vehicle experience preferredASE certification and CDL license or certification strongly preferred
