Fleet Shop Supervisor II

  • Applies advanced technical knowledge related to positive Partner relations, coaching, and Partner development

  • Provides Partners performance feedback

  • Provides direct assistance to resolve Partner issues and concerns; escalates if needed
  • 
    
  • Develops Partner work schedules that ensures business needs are met
  • 
    
  • Communicates with / coaches Partners to ensure understanding of / commitment to daily business goals
  • 
    
  • Applies advanced understanding of product flow processes; ensures on-time delivery and equipment slotting schedules are achieved; monitors / adjusts schedules as needed
  • 
    
  • Applies advanced understanding of productivity / throughput against goals; takes appropriate actions to meet goals
  • 
    
  • Applies advanced understanding of / coaches on expense control, and department's contribution to overall bottom line
  • 
    
  • Monitors daily work volume; adjusts balance of staffing levels and overtime
  • 
    
  • Works with leadership team / Partners to develop a thorough understanding of causes of equipment failure; develops / institutes plans to address issues and extend equipment life

  • Ensures adequate readiness levels of all vehicles / equipment to meet business needs
  • 
    
  • Researches, responds / provides technical insight to customer inquiries, including those from senior leadership and QA teams

  • Ensures compliance with process, facility, and governmental safety requirements
  • 
    
  • Ensures / maintains a clean, safe, well-organized, and pest-free facility

  • Ensures sanitation, maintenance, and safety issues are identified, addressed, and resolved

Qualifications & Key Requirements:

Work Experience:

• Supervisory experience (preferred) - Preferred
• Experience creating / giving presentations - Required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Advanced technical knowledge related to positive Partner relations, coaching, and Partner development - Required
• Advanced knowledge of fundamentals and compliance in the industry, OSHA, DOT, EEOC, EPA, state Employment Laws, and department-level reports - Required
• Advanced understanding of expense control, and how productivity / throughput affect goals - Required
• Proficiency operating internal / external software systems - Required
• Strong verbal / written communication and presentation skills - Required
• Influencing skills - Required
• Analytical skills - Required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; attention to detail - Required

Education:

• A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience - Required

Licenses/Certifications:

• Successful completion of required H-E-B training and classes - Required

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Work flexible and extended hours / shifts (including 10 - 12 hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Navigate through all assigned work areas
