    Education Requirements

    High school diploma required.

    Experience

    • In addition to education, this role typically calls for two to four years of relevant professional experience; (Minimum of one-year relevant experience is required).
    • Experience with garage operations.
    • Experience with vendor management.
    • Working knowledge in automotive and/or special equipment repair and repairs to capital tools and CNG fill station.
    • Working knowledge of automotive paint and body repair.
    • Working knowledge of budgetary processes.
    • Experience evaluating repairs and recommending replacement of vehicles and special equipment.
    • Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including computer and applicable software.
    • Experience composing and preparing reports and correspondence.
    • Experience reading and interpreting technical information, journals, manuals, reports, and correspondence.
    • Experience interacting and communicating effectively.
    • Experience with implementing best practices and managing stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

    Licenses and Certifications

    Applicable driver''s license required.

    • Mobility to travel in as necessary.
    • Drive vehicles to diagnose mechanical problems and/or evaluate repairs.
    • Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions.
    • Visual ability sufficient to perform job duties.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Support the design, acquisition and upfitting of fleet assets for a business division.

    • Partner with Operations management to assess needs and adequacy of current vehicles and equipment.

    • Partner with employees and to third parties in performing fleet installations, maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment.

    • Assist with supplier selection, vendors, and contractors. Provide input on supplier performance.

    • Provide information to employees relative to vehicle and/or equipment capabilities, operations, and maintenance.

    • Communicate and ensure company standards are maintained by commercial garages and dealerships that perform repairs on company vehicles and equipment.

    • Compile, verify and/or report information including but not limited to:

    • Inspection/maintenance reports

    • Repair analysis and recommendation for replacement units

    • Employee documentation

    • Budget information

    • Classification of accounts, such as invoice coding and prorate verification

    • ESH reporting

    • Customer correspondences

    • Evaluation of alternative fuel applications

    • Work order status updates

    • Preventative Maintenance review

    • Claims processing and vehicle verification

    • Bid process for equipment and trailers

    • Utilize multiple systems to research, compile, and compose correspondence.

    • Review and analyze lifecycle information to determine asset viability.

    • Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.

    • Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
