We are seeking a skilled and dependable professional to join our team and help keep our vehicles and equipment operating safely and efficiently. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete repairs to support daily operations and reduce downtime. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on company vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and related system issues.
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules and service requirements.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, components, and systems as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service history.
- Inspect vehicles for safety and operational readiness before and after service.
- Communicate repair needs, estimates, and timelines to supervisors or operations personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety standards.
- Support emergency repairs and respond to breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and shop resources are used properly and maintained effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive, diesel, or fleet maintenance and repair.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service documents, and repair procedures.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment and parts as required by the role.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance records and work order systems.
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with commercial fleets, heavy-duty vehicles, or mixed vehicle types.
- ASE certifications or equivalent technical credentials.
- Familiarity with diagnostic software and modern vehicle systems.
- Experience with DOT or regulatory inspection requirements.

Work Environment
