Primary Duties:

Full responsibility under the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor for inspecting and maintaining automotive equipment of all types at the Distribution Center and Plant.

· Remove and replace worn, damaged or defective parts on Forklifts and support equipment.

· Troubleshoot, tune-up and make adjustments on Forklifts.

· Must be able to use scan and diagnostic equipment.

· Must be able to disassemble, overhaul and reassemble all mechanical parts on Forklifts and support equipment.

· Must be able to troubleshoot, repair and replace electrical components including ignition systems.

· Must be able to troubleshoot, repair and replace hydraulic systems.

· Trouble shoot and repair loading docks, dock levelers and roll up doors.

· Basic welding experience is needed.

· Maintain performance and repair records using spreadsheets.

· Maintain parts, stock and prepare requisitions for parts, tools and supplies.

· Must have a valid California Driver's License.

· Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Secondary Duties:

· Must follow safety rules.

· Must use all safety equipment and PPE properly.

· Repair and maintain other Distribution center and Cannery equipment as needed.

Seasonal Requirements:

· During our summertime processing season (July- September), our facilities operate 24/7

Must be able to work any shift, 7 days a week during the summer processing season.

· Overtime is required up to 11.5 hours daily during our tomato processing season.

Pre-employment Requirements:

· Subject to a skills test, drug and background check.

Education and/ or Experience:

· Minimum of 4 years or relative experience in maintaining heavy fleet equipment and/ or forklifts.
