Apply for tomorrows opportunity today with VoltVolt is immediately hiring a Fleet Mechanic in Albuquerque NM.1stShift Opportunity - Monday - Friday.As a Fleet Mechanic you will Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on drilling rigs pump pulling rigs heavy trucks trailers pumps compressors generators and auxiliary equipment Diagnose mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electrical issues efficiently Fabrication and replace hydraulic hoses Perform MIGstick field welding Inspect equipment for safety wear and compliance withDOT andcompany standards Perform annual DOT truck inspections and maintain associated records Maintain accurate service repair and inspection records in software platforms Coordinate repairs to minimize equipment downtime and support field operations Respond to breakdowns in the field as needed including emergency repairs Ensure proper use and care of tools parts inventory and shop equipment Follow all safety policies environmental regulations and OSHA requirements Regularly communicate equipment status repair timelines and maintenance needs to operations leadership Establish and maintain relationships with specialized service & repair vendors Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and dealers on warranty repairs or recalls Order and manage parts inventory Maintain repair shop environment equipment & suppliesThis is aFull-time Direct Hireopportunity.Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required technical school certification preferred 5 years of experience as a fleet or heavy equipment mechanic water well drilling oil & gas construction or mining preferred Strong knowledge of diesel engines hydraulics electrical systems and PTO-driven equipment Experience working with drilling rigs pump pulling rigs water trucks flatbeds and support vehicles is highly desirable Valid drivers license and MVD record review Read schematics manuals and utilize diagnostic tools Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to use computer software for maintenance ordering & researchPay Range 30.00 - 35.00 per hourPay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration Please hit APPLY to provide the required information and we will be back in touch as soon as possible.Benefits Benefits will be provided by the client as this is a direct hire role.Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
