Fleet Manager

gpac, a recruiting firm with 30+ years in business, is partnered with a well-established company in the structural steel and metals fabrication industry in the Eau Claire, WI area. Our client is seeking a Fleet Manager to manage vehicles and equipment.

Position Responsibilities:

- Manage the company fleet of trucks, trailers, and equipment

- Plan maintenance and repairs

- Ensure DOT compliance

- Control fleet costs

- Coordinate with operations

Position Essential Job Functions:

- Schedule preventive maintenance

- Track fleet records and costs

- Manage vendors and repair shops

- Maintain DOT documentation

- Support equipment purchasing

Position Skills:

- 3+ years of fleet management experience

- Knowledge of DOT regulations

- Construction or heavy equipment experience a plus

- Strong organization

- Budgeting experience
