Fleet Maintenance Clerk\n \nTransdev is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Clerk to support our passenger bus maintenance operations in Inglewood, California. Conveniently located near LAX, we proudly serve ENTERPRISE maintaining a fleet of 40-foot CNG-powered transit buses that contribute to safe, dependable transportation for the city\u2019s commuters and visitors.\n \nAs a Fleet Maintenance Clerk, you\u2019ll be a vital part of our administrative team, working closely with technicians, parts suppliers, and operations staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of our location. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced maintenance environment working side-by-side with mechanics, coordinating with parts suppliers, managing inventory, and supporting efforts to keep our fleet running with minimal downtime.\n \nTransdev is proud to offer:\n \n+ Competitive compensation package of Minimum $18 \u2013 Maximum $23.\n \nBenefits include:\n \n+ Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks.\n \n+ Sick days: 5 days.\n \n+ Holidays: 9 days.\n \n+ Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.\n \nKey Responsibilities:\n \n+ Provide administrative support to the bus maintenance team, including technicians, supervisors, managers, and the client.\n \n+ Perform parts research and purchasing to support timely bus repairs.\n \n+ Track parts inventory transactions, perform physical inventory counts, and help manage stock levels to ensure availability of critical parts.\n \n+ Process invoices and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely payments and smooth supply chain operations.\n \n+ Maintain accurate work order records, preventive maintenance schedules, and safety-related documentation.\n \n+ Communicate with vendors and suppliers to purchase parts, coordinate deliveries, assist with sublet service contracting, and resolve operational issues.\n \n+ Help ensure smooth shop operations by minimizing downtime through efficient clerical support.\n \n+ Perform other duties as assigned to support the maintenance shop and office functions.\n \nQualifications:\n \n+ High School Diploma or equivalent.\n \n+ Prior experience in office, data entry, or administrative support, especially in a maintenance or fleet operations setting.\n \n+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).\n \n+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with mechanics, vendors, and supervisors.\n \n+ Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to vehicle maintenance operations.\n \n+ Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
