Title: Fleet Lead Mechanic

Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Salary Range: Competitive Pay Based on Skill

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Under immediate direction of the Fleet Manager, this position will assist with maintaining equipment operation by completing inspections and preventative maintenance requirements, correcting vehicle deficiencies, adjustments, and keeping record of repairs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts.

· Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, assembling components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering.

· Ensures equipment availability by completing preventive maintenance schedules, installing component and part upgrades.

· Demonstrates a consistent positive attitude to support a productive work environment. Cooperates, communicates, and works well with coworkers.

· Regular and punctual attendance is required.

· Helps Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience in electrical diagnostics and past mechanic experience.

· Three (3) years of mechanic experience.

· Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.

· Prioritizes and uses time efficiently.

· Demonstrates a sense of urgency & Leadership in completing all tasks.
