About the Shop

The company is seeking experienced Fleet Diesel Technicians in Fort Lauderdale, FL and Tampa, FL, offering $30–$45/hour with hourly or commission compensation options. This Monday–Friday position has no weekends and provides consistent year-round fleet workflow. Technicians work on fleet maintenance and diesel repair in an operation servicing approximately 100 vehicles weekly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diesel inspections and preventive maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical and drivability concerns
• Complete fleet maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel systems
• Complete accurate, quality repairs efficiently
• Maintain productivity and quality standards
• Document findings and repair needs

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional technician experience
• Diesel diagnostic and repair experience
• Ability to complete repairs independently
• Strong work ethic and team-focused approach
• Fleet maintenance experience preferred
• Freightliner, Peterbilt, or heavy-duty truck experience preferred
• Strong B-Level and A-Level Technicians encouraged to apply
